Colourlock New Leather Care Set

Colourlock New Leather Care Set

The New Leather Care Set from Colourlock has been specially formulated for new (0 - 3 years old), semi-gloss, surface-dyed smooth leather. This type of leather is characterised by a water-repellent surface, meaning that a drop of water does not soak in immediately.Ā

An ideal choice for the gentle cleaning and protection of leather interiors in vehicles, leather furniture, including Long Life leathers, as well as other leather upholstery. It ensures gentle cleaning and a long-lasting seal that preserves the natural look and feel of the leather whilst protecting it from dirt and moisture.

Kit Contents

  • 1x Leather Shield (100ml)
  • 1x Leather Cleaner mild (250ml)
  • 1x Foam bottle
  • 2x Viscose cloths
  • 3x Small cleaning and application sponges

Application areas: New (0-3 years) leather products / smooth leather

Recommended use: Before you treatĀ your leather, it must be thoroughly cleaned. Fill the empty foamer bottle completely with Leather Cleaner mild and apply the foam to a sponge – do not apply directly to the leather. Clean the leather from seam to seam using the foam and lightly dampen the cloth provided to remove dirt and any remaining cleaner. Allow the leather to dry completely. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary.

Before sealing, the leather must be dry, clean and free of residues. Rub a few drops of Leather Shield into the enclosed soft cloth, applying thinly and evenly from seam to seam. Do not polish afterwards, simply leave to dry - one application is usually sufficient. Repeat the process only for extremely delicate or highly absorbent leather.

For heavily used leather surfaces (e.g. near radiators, exposed to sunlight, frequent use): treat every 3 months. For leather surfaces under normal use: every 6 - 12 months.

Warnings: Please test all products on an inconspicuous area first to ensure they do not cause any damage to the leather.
